Legitimate question!

Everything from Anna und Oskar is sewn in family-run factories in Portugal and Romania, that means decades of experience in manufacturing fair fashion. Occupational safety and fair wages are a matter of course here.
Our partners from Bielefeld are regularly on site and it's just a really cool handcraft.

Then we always opted for the crème de la crème when it came to the material. Hugo, Greta etc. are made of Cordura, the queen of outdoor materials. Why? Because it lasts. And that means further consumption is unnecessary. That is exactly our goal.

And then there are these little things... we do without individual polybags when it comes to packaging. We're not sending you twenty-five flyers and three kilos of tissue paper. We use green electricity and ship with DHL GOGREEN. We use grass boxes and donate a lot of money every year to e.g Fridays for Future and social projects. We don't want to launch a new collection every 2 months. For us, all of this is sustainability.
We pack and ship everything ourselves from our shop in Kreuztal. Usually we make it within 2-3 working days and you will receive an email including shipment tracking as soon as we start preparing your order. For orders payed by bank transfer, delivery begins after receipt of the money. Please consider: quarantine, flood, storms, strikes, BlackFriday - there are so many reasons it may sometimes take a little longer 🙏🏻
By the way, you pay NO shipping costs within Germany. Shipping costs to all other EU countries and Switzerland are 12,90€, free for orders from 200,00€!
Good question! With us, things cost what they cost. Unfortunately because of mass production in low-wage countries we are not aware of the real costs of our consumption. At Anna und Oskar we do everything ourselves and pay everyone in the whole chain fairly and well. When it comes to the material, we have always opted for the best zipper, the best thread, etc., because we simply want to create a really great product that we are proud of. That's just important to us. Therefor our products are so robust that you can bequest your Anna und Oskar stuff later or sell it on AllTrippers and get almost the original price for it.
Not easy to imagine. But let's assume it actually comes to that... just return it.

. Important: Returns are damn expensive for the environment and for us and we want to avoid impulse shopping and try-on orders à la H&M. That's why we take responsibility for you here, thus you bear the shipping costs for returning your return yourself. Check our material samples out first, you can find them under "Extras".
